been doing loads of catching up with friends
& e week was definitely well spent! ♥

first was the awesome long weekend due to national day!
whee! (:

went clubbing, hit the gym for some great workout then mj-ing & supper with awesome-est.
suntanning at cy’s place + catch up with my love twinny & cy. (:
they never fail to give me their support whenever i needed it & always there to
give me advices.
then managed to catch breathtaking fireworks at grannys place.
the view was nothing but gorgeous!
so great we made it in time! (:

not forgetting my mary chia babes!
jenna & charmaine! (: miss these girls to bits.
& im gonna miss j when she goes over to UK!
im so envious of her luhs. she ve got everything nicely planned out.
& babe, if u re seeing this, im really happy for you
& i hope u ll start anew there and meet someone better! (: u knw wad i mean.

and the highlight of the week was,
i tried ROCK CLIMBING!
always wanted to try it luhs! was excited and all..

woot! it was a great try out experience.
but the after effect was painful!
i got very bad muscle aches on my arms the next day when i woke up.

i couldnt do anything! i felt like a handicap seriously.
i couldnt even brush my teeth, wash my face or even simple things like,
opening the door?
not even struggling that is.

ouch.

but it was worth it!
it was FUN!
tried left to right, den up the perpendicular wall.
i took like 3 tries to reach the top!

first i was too scared to continue as it was freaking high and i had to JUMP down!
theres no strings or anything to hole u.
just mattress at the bottom.

it look so easy to just let go & jump down.
but its so hard! i kept holding on & took like ages to jump dwn
while amron was like persuading me to let go & i ll be fine. HAHA!
and worse, i screamed when i did. heh!
but after falling a few times i got immune to it. (: hees.

i find rock climbing really challenging
cos u need to plan ur steps, hold up ur whole body using mostly ur arms
(cos my legs doesnt ache at all)
& really loads of endurance!
& one thing i ve learnt,
just keep climbing & moving ahead, not to look back. (:

gonna rock climb again!

met cuzzie for some htht & dessert. (:

& e new model joined us that session, heidi.
and she was ethan’s friend. ha. such a small world.

its just the beginning of Aug..
& im already drowning.

firstly, my nose is acting like a bitch.
it just keep running non stop & i had to blow my freaking nose
like every 1 min. ):

then it got so bad
i actually had blood in my mucus & it totally freaked me out.
(cos i never had it before.)

then came my darkest fear..

guess i should have saw it coming..
but i cannot cope with all that is happening.
oh god.

yes, i agree,
im the one who chose this path & i should just suck it up.
im the one who gave us up..& therefore i shouldnt even look back right.

its start of a whole new month,
AUGUST!

its gonna be so empty with just freaking NINE days of work man.

today was literally rotting at home and feeling all sucky..

oh & i went to send xq off to Pulua Tekong early morning today since i ve nth on!
first ever trip there! was pretty excited at first to see hows its like
& with the hope of bumping into someone there..

we took a shuttle bus to the SAF ferry terminal,
waited for some time before boarding the penguin ferry to TEKONG!

hmm, went on a tour around..
actually their bunks are quite clean & spacious.
unlike wad i thot it would be like actually.

then was some explanatory talks on the items they bring on their fieldtrip..
blah blah blah & whatsnot.

finally was the auditorium to reunite with the guys & see them take the oath. (:
i think it was quite funny when everyone start saying their own I/C no & name!
hahaha.. so messy luhs.
and can u imagine if ur name is freaking long?
u have to complete it when everyones already saying the second line?

hahaha..

afterwhich was lunch, but i had to skipped it & rushed to the ferry terminal
as i have a dental appointment!

hmm, somehow i felt really bored during the trip.

then when i was in cab, it suddenly struck me that i freaking had to pay
COVER CHARGE & CAB FARE home later

so was just roaming around till yins come after work

when i turned ard puzzled, they were pointing fingers at each other
& intro-ed themselves asking if they can dance with me.
OMG.
i just reject politely & went off. phew.

then we went to another podium, this guy in his late 20s, started targeting me.
dance closer & closer & finally said,
"i think we met somewhere before..”
LOL! (wad a bad pickup line was wad drifting thru my mind)
i just said, “oh no, i dont think so.” *ignore*
but he still continue dancing with me & itchy hands!
then amron to the rescue! (:

and soon after that,

it happened so rapid i dont even have time to react!
this ang moh guy ard our age just grab my hand from nowhere,
pulled me dwn frm e podium & offered me to dance with him!

omg!
lucky for amron, who just pulled me away.
which left e dude really puzzled.

so he came up and wanne dance with me again,
and amron stopped him & asked him to find another girl instead.
so he was really unhappy & asked amron,why?
and amron just said, you dont need to know why. Just enjoy your own night with another girl.

anw been really really bored at work and

make up can really make not-so-physically-attractive-girls so hawt & gorgeous luhs!
& they make me wanne learn how to apply such make up!

i think eye make up really makes a big difference to a person.

hmm, but i would definitely not wear it on a daily basis.
dont wanne create such a big difference of me with and without make up.

and i still prefer a natural look..minus the hassle. (:

do guys prefer girls who are damn pretty with make up
but look totally "diff" when they remove their make up.
or girls who are plain looking/ average with no make up?

from my experience,
usually guys will say they prefer girls with no make up,

or goes," eee, that girl pretty meh? make up so thick."

but i realised at the end of the day,
its the pretty girls with make up who get hitched and girls without who get ditched.

finally tried out the chanel nailpolish my babes bought for me.

woke up with slight fever which comes with complimentary
body aches, headaches, cough & sore throat ytd.

its started off with just a sore throat
& i think nth of it.
had my fav sambal stingray for lunch, bedok 85 for bar chor mee, carrot cake, chicken wings & sugar cane!

how to resist all these yummylicious food right?!

and the weather was horrible.

despite being sick, still decided to go ahead with my photoshoot.
cos too last min already & sarah have already booked the studio.

photoshoot was a lil delayed as roy had to adjust his camera to the studio lighting..
i nearly died shooting.

june had been hard & a really upsetting month for me.

i dont know what to express anymore.

a new month,
a new set of colours for my braces,

(i think i was mad, i put yellow & green out of impulse just cause im supporting brazil for world cup!
dont laugh okay. my mind was BLANK at that time & i caught the brazil match the night before,
so guess my mind was loaded with nth but brazil. HAHAHA.
anw, not a good choice. the dark grass green looks weird with the contrasting bright yellow!
lesson learnt! nv mix bright & dark colours tgt!)

a new hair cut
(snapped off my very dry ends & shorten the length by a lil,
no more waist length hair, thick hair.
but the horrible thing was my FRINGE.
it have always been the FRINGE.
everytime i trust my fringe with the hairdresser, they just doesnt do a good job with it.
& it totally suck
cos the fringe is the smallest part but yet have the BIGGEST impact/effect on ur whole image & look!
RIGHT GIRLS?!

(and i totally think we cut it ourselves is still the best choice! (: )

& how many times have i told myself,
NOT TO TRUST HAIRDRESSER WITH MY FRINGE?!

a newly dyed hair!
not much of a new look or colour.

so my hair is silky smooth!
totally love it!

we still have to load it into e lappy, check thru it

anw, i wasnt jittery until i gt on the seat and had my seat belt on. slowly the thing elevate itself up.. until it was almost 180degree! oh god. its just the seat belt holding on to us!

as we can choose to either let the operator to let go of the latch or we can choose to do it ourselves, we chose to do it ourselves. so my bro was supposed to do it since hes e bday boy, but he was too scared! HAHAHA. so his friend beside him did it. anw, e operator told us have to press twice before it will really release the latch, but it went down e moment his friend press the button!

we screamed like mad! it was damn scary when it fall straight down! my heart almost dropped out.
and the best part is, i ran out of breath screaming! hahaha. its still falling when i was short of breath! so i give up screaming.. instead i swear when we reached the top. :x LOL!

i think i held onto the metal bar too tightly until my hands were numb after that! or prob i was scared out of my wits. haha..hello jello hands and legs!

then was changi village to meet another group of bikers, before heading down to kent ridge park.

loads of racing along the way! riding at 160km/hr on highway (woohoo!) , chasing cars, racing each other. as bo liao & dangerous as it may sound, it was no doubt thrilling!

at the end of the day, i suffered frm bad aches frm my poor ass and inner thighs after riding from 10pm to 4am. i felt like a wobbly duck when i got down frm the bike! ouch.

this is only to be done, once in a while.

was busy with graduation last week.
it may appears to be just a ceremony.
but momsie was quite happy and getting all excited for me!

so we went on a shopping trip to look for new top and shoes.
but instead of getting wad i need for graduation,
bought other formal/office wear!

so bought a jade green top
and i finally bought a nice fitting shift dress!

i finally head back to school on tuesday for the first time ever since FO!

so it worked until..
i walked passed this group of peeps and this malay guy smiled and waved to me?

seriously, i think im gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight.

got my ass to the dentist this afternoon and i had my very first braces procedure done.
at first i was so elated when the dentist told me i need not extract any teeth ~~YET.~~
(will decide again another 6mths later)
a sigh of relief!
phew.

so he put separators for me, which is in a form of like rubber bands?
8 of it in between different sections of my teeth.
at first i thot it was quite bearable.
just a lil sore and uncomfortable, i told my mum.
and left the clinic happily like WOO, ITS DONE ~~for the day!~~

it was until when i had my dinner,
i truly understand what my dentist meant by,
you will experience some pain, difficulties biting and eating properly.

ohgod.
not so bad eating up my burger at mos.
fries a lil hard but still managed to eat some.

until..
i had cravings for my favourite bubbletea!
i still happily ordered my peach red tea with PEARLS and COCONUT JELLY.
so much for being a smart aleck.
I TOTALLY REGRETTED.
it was such a pain and chore chewing those pearls and jelly!
i nearly died. cos it made my whole mouth ache so much!

oh god,wad a boring friday.
all i did today is being a BUM.

sat in front of the comp,

hmm, so i ve been bumping ard for e past few days after FO camp!
but i still managed to get some things done!

went for a 12km run right after 7 days of madness camp.
i think i was crazy luhs.
imagine alr so tired and all,
i still torture myself to a 12km marathon e next morning!

dats because i dint know the running date was right after camp and i have alr paid for it.
my first marathon thou!
so excited!

at first i was so worried i couldnt finish the race!
but im glad i did! hees.
despite nt training, never finish a 12km run non-stop before
plus a tiring 7 days camp beforehand.
so happy when i crossed the finishing line!
whee!

was quite satisfied with my timing too
esp when its my first run. (:
1hr30mins.
the fastest woman was 50plus mins?
so shall train harder next time!

oh and i finally went to had my x-ray done for my braces!

got a blue black out of nowhere after camp and its taking forever to heal! :(

and lasty, i went for an job interview on thurs!
at DOVER ITE.

picking up calls and explaining to ppl what the courses are?
seems like a pretty easy job. heehee.
and the best part?
the pay!
woot, freaking $8 an hour!

hmm, those who have alr know from facebook..
regarding my current fb’s status: how does it feel when u have been fishing for 2weeks and when u ve finally caught a super big fish.. u realised u ve forgotten to bring a pail/ tank along to keep the fish. and u ve got no choice but to let it go.. THATS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL NOW! eff-ing horrible!

many wonder what is it about..

okays, i ve been offered a place in “x” airline.
(and yes, that explains the workshop and all da interviews)
but e result came in a most surprising way that i was caught unprepared.
true enuff i was happy.. but smth else hit me.
i had to start on 5th Apr, which is just a few more DAYS away..
and i have to give them a reply by that noon!

it was so rush!
i have so many CONSIDERATIONS!

-FO camp! if i just go off, it will be so irresponsible of me right? and how abt the months of effort i ve put in? all gone to waste. and i really want to attend this camp! LAST fo camp!

-next was MONEY. the 5k bond. my mum have yet to agree to give me that huge sum of money.

-and finally, is it where i want to be for the next 2 years?!

i was in such huge dilemma i had to call up a few wise people to ask them for help..
i was so close to accepting.. then i decided to reject this opportunity. :(

and they say i probably have to wait for the next batch, which dont know when and depends if theres vacancy. so im taking this risk.
well, at least now everything is back to normal and i have more time to think it thru. (:

but of cos, i feel so wasted. the feeling of it slipping out of my hands just suck to the core! rawrs!
and only 5 of us were chosen out of the 24 people! BAHHHH!

and there goes my two days of gruesome training!

alright, actually the training aint that bad luhs. esp on the 2nd day!
time seemed to pass by faster and things arent as draggy as the first.

like i mentioned, the training have gt absolutely nth to do with what i was gonna do.
but its more of a self reflection workshop. (:
it makes u think more about what u re doing currently thats stopping u from being successful and what u need to change in order to be a step nearer to success.

true enuff. some of the stuff are spot-on for obstructing my way to being successful.

got to change all that! (:

so i would say, its nt a waste of time!
besides, i have met new friends and brought back with me intangible knowledge.

something memorable i ve learnt from this workshop would be:

when u want to pursue your goal, sure enuff u will be met with considerations to stop u from continuing on.

considerations such as not enuff time, no money, no confidence, thinking its impossible, lazy, fear.. the list goes on.
another word, excuses.

think of these considerations as belief and not fact. if u re determined to get to your goals, u will find ways to get pass these considerations. the only thing u ve to face is fear… which is unable to avoid or solve. but like e saying, what doesnt kill u, makes u stronger. so just face these fears and go do it! it doesnt kill u! (:

yupp. so after this, im more determined to go for some stuff im always finding excuses for. probably i should just go for it! (: and give it a shot.
u should too people if u are still not doing anything to reach ur goal! (:

heh. im totally exhausted from the freaking gross training today!
ah my god.
seriously, i dont even know what im doing there!
firstly, i find what i ve learnt is totally irrelevant to what im pursuing.
its more of personal development.
hence, it just sound oh-so-ridiculous!

secondly, most of us arent informed of the timing of the training.
and guess wad?!

from 9am to 11pm!
YES! 11PM! oh god!
at first i thot they were kidding me! probably, 11AM.
but hell no! its freaking PM.
and poor us, those living freaking far away got to rush for last train!
eff-ing too much.

and thats 14HOURS of TRAINING!
dont ask me how i managed to get pass the day!
i cnt even believed i actually sat thru it..

and trust me, i dreaded it
(not the program, the process, prob due to the rules and long duration)!
it felt almost like the secondary school days!
okays, prob worse than that.

cos we have to follow RULES.
ohgod.
14hrs, minus breaks, prob 11hrs..

without Handphone (he dont even allow us to SILENT it, must be OFF)

no chewing of gums/ mints/ sweets
cnt talk unless sharing session
must attend 2days of FULL trng

cnt sit beside someone u know prior to trng

and the list goes on.

okay, e thot of me going thru it over again tml just turn me off.

ohman, been neglecting this space ever since i messed up my life.
however, things are definitely getting better and slowly falling into place now.

after running away from it for so long..
its time emotions come kickin in.

sleepless nights while i rolled on the bed trying hard to fall asleep,

MASEGO is a new themed family spa. A safari themed spa located at Jurong Safra!
one which you can bring your kids along!
they provide facial, foot spa, massages and also the fish spa! yes, the one whereby the fishes eats up ur dead skin on ur feet!

really love the environment.
relaxing, big and special!
and spa rooms are made out of tents instead of concrete walls! COOL RIGHT?!
cnt wait for the pictures to be out!
and the official opening will be on April if im not wrong! :)

heh, its really damn tiring!
not to mention at some point, really bored.
modelling really doesnt seems as glamorous and easy as you think.

having to wait as the professionals do their job, making sure everything look picture perfect before we could start taking the picture. to them, every single detail counts!

they can take like 45mins just to set up a scene! the surrounding deco, the lightings, even small small details like the towel covering us must not be crumpled, must be at the right angle!
this really proves how much effort goes into taking such awesome pictures!

and that is just SETTING the scene. still havent add in the total amt of time spent shooting with the models!

they have to crawl for two mats, walk for another two and throw a ball into a hula hoop at the end.
i have to go thru the whole station with them and give them points for each stage they complete!

i went crying to mummy and whine her to take me to the doc asap!

Since projects and tests were really near cny, I don't have e luxury of shopping at my own sweet time!

so it kinda suck.

Finding cny clothes in such hurry aint a joke.

its freaking irritating and god damn tiring!

but thank goodness I ve gt e nicest twin in e whole world to do shopping with!

for the first time I was able to go out of SINGAPORE without my parents! (aside from school trips luhs)

so I was extremely eggciteddd!

the 2 of us just went to JB by ourselves in search of cheap and pretty treasures!

and amazingly, the trip was even shorter than my journey to town plssss! :D

For once Im so glad I live in e north! HAHAHAS.

I swear JB was such a good place to shop at cos of the favourable exchange rates!

Even the bubbletea there is freakin cheap luhs! RM 1.80 only! and wad, sg selling like SG1.50?! doh!

However, I have such weird taste that the clothes there just doesn't really appeal to me. L

I took a long time before I found smth I like! Bought a denim dress and sandals! Spent only SG50 including all the other miscellaneous expense! Hees.

then we went to si ma lu temple to pray.

barely see her at all..like once a year?

I was pretty upset when we went up and was told that she moved!

Thank god her neighbour has her no and we managed to pay her a visit at her rented place!

was so happy to see her.. I nearly tear when I did.

We had a good catch up and I cnt wait to visit her at her new apartment soon!

Then visited daddy's friend.

he had two super cute Schnauzers! :)

afterwhich was grandmother's place!

finally saw jasmine and Jackson. Kinda miss them and the times we used to spend tgt during our childhood days..

those were the times.

took as many pictures as we could.

its really upsetting to see how cousins drifted apart as we grow up..

wadever it is, had homecooked dinner before heading off to laoda's place!

so happy to see my scand!

and laoda, Cheryl, andy and all e other staffs!

True enuff many things have changed.

many new staff overtaken our places.

but im sure memories don't. and it will always be kept in my heart.

Gambled a lil with scand being my calculator.

HAHAS. She damn cute. And We will always exchange expressions whenever we saw e cards!

And I guess god of luck wasn't on my side. Dint win. But I dint lose much either.

Day three:

Bf came over to bai nian and lunched at my place. J

then went to his house, my turn to bai nian to his parents.

superb dinner at geylangggg!

we had frog legs porridge (5 of it!) and kang kong!

we eat till we were too full to finish up the kang kong and had to pack it back!

the frog legs were damn spicyyyyy!

we almost couldn't feel our lips after eating it and we were sweating like madddd!

but still its super shiokkkk!

its so weird to have valentines day clashing with Chinese New Year!
dont ya think so?

heh. idk but personally i dread the fact that valentines day collide with CNY. :(
everyone will be so busy doing visiting, and no much couples seen ard with flowers, celebrating their love.
afterall the shops are closed and visiting needs to be done.
but on the other hand, at least it doesnt seems that bad for those who are single. :/

sadly for me, no valentines day this year. :(
and to add on to it, its our 10th month todayy!
not bf’s fault but prob just the coincidental dates.
he couldnt squeeze time out for that. oh wells.

i should just use the usual saying to console myself
everyday can be valentines day as long as you re happy with the one u love.

POE PROJECT IS REALLY KILLING ME! :(
urgh.

im totally restless now.
imagine two days of 9am tutorial and continuous project meeting till late. :(
sigh. not to mention the long journey home with my laptop.
totally a drag.

this week is total madness for me!

woo.. im back from the first training for saturday’s event!
alright, i only told a few of my closest ones abt this event..
was quite worried i couldnt make it so i dint want to announce anything yet.
but from what i see, no one should be kicked out.
exact 10 babes and 10 dudes.
helping to model for s’pore poly 50th anniversary event! cool! thanks yins!

so today practically just did catwalk.
bah. im in a whole new environment with unfamiliar faces!
i felt really nervous and shy at first. felt so insecure when yins left!
i know i need to make new friends. but i feel so out-of-place!
you know like u are thrown into the big ocean trying to keep yourself afloat? :/
yeah dats how i felt.

but slowly i tried to open up, but still quite reserved i think.
some said im so shy and quiet. LOL. cos im simply nervous and certainly, uncomfortable. gahhh

anw, i missed the first training last week.
so came today, was a lil lag behind.
okay, prob not first time cat walking. BUT ITS SO DIFFERENT!
okay.. how should i phrase it..
erm, cos the other time, i modelled for some hairstyle/ make up event, e audience are mostly 20s.
and i was able to like take it easy..
but this time, EVERYONE IS ARD MY AGE!
so the pressure is there! :(

and so.. i would say i did not perform up to my expectation/standard.
bah.. sadly i did trashy. :(
i got the counts wrongly which was quite embarrassing and i dont have enuff confidence!
heh! some girls were like damn confident luhs! sashaying down the walkway like nobody business. ahh..

totally needed some time alone to sort out my thots.
it kinda help. :) feel good to be alone, taking my own sweet time to do what i want..
but on e other hand, it feels so upset to be alone in such a huge place.. the emptiness..
contradicting aye.

umm, while i was alone, i had an urge to pack a few clothes into my luggage and take on a flight to somewhere far.. far away from here. and experience a whole new life! it seems so cool. but i know i would certainly be home sick. :/
i just feel like going overseas ALONE.
i would always close my eyes and imagine the places i would go.. the people i will meet on the way..
how great it will be travelling to places whereby no one knows u, and just be carefree.. revealing who u really are. :)

i guess, bottom-line is, i need a holidayyyyyy! :)

heh. digressing from IB revision.

so freaking tired of it. :/

some parts i just simply dont understand what the heck its talking about! so frustrating.
i could still follow thru for the first few e-lectures.. den e last few i simply drifted off.
so hard to concentrate. doh! :(

i really dont feel like reading anymore. but im sure i cnt make it if i dont. so that sucks. :(
and the test is in another 4hrs time! urghh! >:(

anw, went to hazel's 21st bday party a few weeks back! :)

rahhh! okay, i totally failed to fulfil my resolution. (if u read my fb status)
supposed to tuck in by 10pm. but time check: 11.30pm.
heh! however, on a brighter side, at least theres some kind of improvements. :)

havent thot of other resolutions or should i say more satisfying resolutions, yet.
for now, its this few:
- drink more water and be hydrated. :) carry a bottle when im out. Cos i dread plain water and i hardly drink up to 3 cups of PLAIN water a day. :( sounds bad enuff uh. so time for a change! diabetes coming my way if i dont. :x
-sleep as early as possible. preferably by 10pm, latest 11pm. :) i ve checked, best timing to sleep is 10pm to 6am! so gonna catch the golden hours! my eye bags are horrendous. :(
-improve on my time management. im known for ms late queen. and it has been my resolution since the longest time. HAHAS. but i swear i made improvements these 2 weeks! really! im either early or punctual for my 9 AM LESSONS okay! *smug*

thats all for nao. shall continue to expand when i thot of more.

quick updates:
-successfully celebrated baby’s 19th bday despite some hiccups. :)
-mini room revamp! it looks cleaner and neater now! gotta buy paint and start painting my “wall of fame” and start saving for new furnitures!
-new tote bag. im super in love with it. :) thanks huishan for getting it for me!
-im anticipating about this event on 30th Jan! so exciting! shant reveal it here. but im surprised and glad bestie yins recommended me for that! :) and silly babe, i know we drifted but e memories still stays with me. u re nt forgotten ok! its inevitable we drifted. but im sure we will get back to where we were. have faith! ♥
